Concealed Weapon Slot

The concealed weapon slot is a special slot that allows you to bring pistols in to an operation. Some players use this to aid in achieving certain goals and targets, particularly those who want to go for Suit Only. Others prefer to have the additional pistol to make a gap closer. It is important to remember that in order to select the pistols that belong in this slot, click on the button for the appropriate category, like alternate slot 2 machine guns. The presence of Major Expedition and Adept Rider active makes this much simpler to accomplish. This combo can also trigger damage from concealed Weapon every 10 seconds for as long as you have it in the slot.

Smuggled Item Slot

The smuggled items slot is a great feature that lets players bring weapons and other tools into the game, but it can be improved. It's currently shaped like a pistol which makes it difficult to differentiate the smuggled item slot from other slots for gear.

The smuggle slot is able to hold a large variety of items, from subtle concussion devices to explosives that are weapon-grade. These items are secretly stored in a hidden location on the map and can be recovered at any moment. Smuggled items are different from Agency Pickups or Hidden Stashes that hide small items in the scenery or objects.

Mission planning is an option available in missions that are episodic. It allows players to unlock various starting locations, smuggled objects, and gear slots prior to stepping into the map. As players progress through challenges and unlock new Mission Mastery levels, these options for planning increase. This gives players the ability to design the perfect mission for each difficulty.

Gear Slot

The game's beginning players will find their gear slots rapidly become full, resulting in the common "Your Gear Slots are Full" message, which blocks Max from acquiring new equipment until the old ones are cleared or more space is found. Hogwarts Legacy Merlin Trials are the solution to this problem. They give players more inventory space to complete challenges. Since many of these challenges could be overlooked and are scattered around the globe, it might take a while to reach the maximum number inventory slots in the game.

Five Gear Slots can be filled with up to 5 different types of gear, which must be selected from the Gear Selection menu before a Break-In can begin.  jackpot slots  (except the Pistol) will take up one Gear Slot while a set of similar items (like Grenades that are of the same type) only takes up one Gear Slot.

Agency Pickups

As you progress in Mission Mastery levels, you unlock various agency pickups throughout the map. These locations let you keep items that aren't suitable in your weapon or gear slot, and take them out later.

These pickups are particularly useful if you need to pass through a frisk in the course of the game or if you're carrying a weapon that might otherwise be suspect. But, you are only able to hide one item per game at a pickup location for agencies.

This DLC also includes new asset protection and security contracts to the agency. To start these missions, simply contact the receptionist at the agency and purchase armor and snacks. Once you have reached the marker for your mission, identify a mob at the time you arrive.
